While our main business is currently purse seining for pilchards, the WA Government is seriously allowing purse seining which would up open the very profitable Asian table market. We have a small retail operation currently which could easily be expanded and our bait is sold in many, many local shops, caravan parks and service stations. The operation has been scaled down in recent times to part time as the current owners are ready to retire, however at its peak the company ran 4 boats with a massive turnover in excess of $2.3 million. We are currently only running one of the two vessels included in the sale and only about 60% of the available time, meaning there are huge and immediate gains to be made by the new owner.
